Promotion of Iranian educational films
The Press conferences of the animation, documentary and feature films Juries of 48th Rosh International Film Festival was held with the presence of foreign and Iranian juries .

 At the press Conference of The jury, One of the judges at   The 48th Roshd International Film Festival , Matea Milic, mentioned to 89 animated films were reviewed,said: “: The animation films  that we saw ,were very interesting in terms of content and quality  , and while animation  has  an international language,  the way the filmmakers - especially the Iranian filmmakers - worked that  the  Content was expressed.”

Mehdi Khorramian, the other jury of this section, talked about about the works  that  were reviewed :” It is very easy to judge the good and the weak films, because bad ones are set aside and the  good ones are chosen. But the main argument and challenge was the average films that led to discussion and talks between the jury.”

Maryam Kashkoolii, the judge and the university professor, also said about the quality of the animation films of the festival:” It was very promising to see Iranian animations, because the standard of Iranian films in terms of quality and  story  has improved  so much that it is impossible to distinguish between Iranian and foreign animations.”

The second meeting of this day was press conference  of  documentary Section’s  Jury .The Jury ,Mahvash Shaikholeslami, Stefan Malesevicz and Elif Ergezen were present at the meeting.

Mahvash Sheikholeslami,a  veteran Iranian documentary  director and executive producer, said  that it was her first time to attend Roshd Film Festival as a jury.

" I enjoyed watching movies a lot, the quality of the films was good, And I saw different films that made me feel pleasing as a  jury. The films  that their directors have tried to address to various topics in various ways.”

Stefan Malesevicz - Serbian Jury - also pointed to the fact that he had traveled to Iran for the first time, but before that he fond of Iranian Cinema and Abbas Kiarostami and added that The quality of the documentaries of the section is well.

“In my country, Serbia; educational films do not use much in the school system, making educational films is more for fun.”

The Turkish Jury , Elif Ergezen, also noted that seeing Iranian films at the festival was the most important reason for attending the festival. He said: "I watched good quality films at this festival and I am happy to attend it."

The third  meeting of the day was press conference  of  feature film  Section’s  Jury .The Jury, Fang Gangliang from China and Fadi Abi Samra   from Lebanon was present.

Fadi Abi Samra   stated that he had seen about 100 movies in two days due to his limited time.

“Iran's cinema is an important cinema for me; since childhood I was watching and interested in Iranian films. Iranian filmmakers are very talented, and I saw this ability in  films of this festival.”

Fang Gangliang  said” In China, educational films have not been used as a teaching tool. But recently, filmmaking for children has been on the agenda for educational planning.”
