Talking to Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reporter on the sidelines of the 48th International Roshd Film Festival currently underway in Tehran, Secretary of Ukraine's Kids Movie Fest, Svetlana Pagasi, said the event is the best venue to exchange cinema products between the two countries.
Pagasi said, ' Last year, 12 Iranian films were displayed at the Ukraine's Kids Movie Fest. After watching the movies, they encouraged me to travel to this country and become familiar with the atmosphere of Iranian cinema.'
Commenting on Ukraine's Kids Movie Fest, she added the films produced by children are being displayed in this event each year.
Pagasi also expressed hope that the two countries could produce a joint film in children and youth field in near future.
International Roshd Film Festival is being held on November 16-23, in Tehran.
Films from UK, India, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Greece, Italy, Malta, Tunisia, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Denmark, the Philippines, and Finland have participated in the narrative short films section of the festival.
Roshd Film Festival mainly focuses on the films with educational and pedagogical themes.
It is organized by the Supplying Educational Media Center, a sub-branch of the Iranian Ministry of Education.
